How to contact the on-call doctor:
If you are in labor or your water broke, please call labor and delivery at the hospital, St. Johns in Maplewood, MN at 651-232-7550. The hospital will contact the on-call doctor when you arrive.
If it is during office hours (8 am-5 pm), and you have questions or concerns, please call the office at 651-653-0062.
If you have emergency questions or concerns after office hours, please call the AALFA office number at 651-653-0062 which will go to the answering service who will contact the on-call doctor to return your call.
In the rare case that St. John's Labor and Delivery is full, Drs. Paquette and Kobbermann may be able to care for Drs. Nordin and Carson's patients at United Hospital (651-241-6220) depending on availability and the complexity of the OB care. Drs. Paquette and Kobbermann care for the majority of OB care other than c-sections and high risk pregnancy complications such as severe preeclampsia, premature delivery before 34 weeks, or high-risk VBACs.
